Niyama Yoga & Yama Therapeutics
Advanced RYT 300 THERAPEUTIC YOGA TEACHER TRAINING PROGRAM
Not all Yoga Teacher Trainings are created equal. In fact, there is a huge disparity between the curricula of teacher trainings. If you are looking for a top-notch, comprehensive yoga teacher training program, you have come to the right place. Niyama is an industry leader for proper education and training.
FACT:

What makes Niyama an industry leader in 300 hour yoga teacher training?

Niyama's RYT 300 hour yoga teacher training program is best in class due to the caliber of teachers who offer this training and the extensive content and application of tangible therapeutic yoga techniques.
Our programs were originally founded by Diane Finlayson and are now run by Nicole Zornitzer. Diane is the Department Chair of Yoga Therapy & Ayurveda at Maryland University of Integrative Health. Nicole is also a graduate of Maryland University of Integrative Health, from where she received her certification in Ayurvedic as a Certified Ayurvedic Lifestyle Consultant.
The Yamas and the Niyamas, which are cornerstones of Ayurveda, anchor the teachings of Hatha yoga taught in our trainings. The Yamas are restraints, or social disciplines. For example, one of the Yamas is Ahimsa, or non-violence. Embracing the concept of Ahimsa means our teacher training programs encourage you to respect your body’s edges and not harm yourself while practicing, nor harm your students by pushing them too far in their practices. The Niymamas are observances, or ethical conducts. One of the Niyamas is Svadhyaya, or self-study. Our trainings incorporate this concept and help you to understand and accept yourself.

This is Sanskrit for Svadhyaya
This program is designed for those who have previously trained as RYT 200 yoga instructors who are interested in expanding their knowledge and application of therapeutic yoga practices.
